Fountain Lower-Level

FS FOUNTAIN GALLERY LOWER-LEVEL WALLS

Fountain Square’s Fountain Area

The fountain galleries at Fountain Square were formed in a public-private partnership
between CFC Properties and the City of Bloomington to provide additional
exhibit spaces for artists to display their work in downtown Bloomington.

The FS Fountain Gallery Walls display creative pieces by local and national artists.
The lower-level walls rotate artwork every quarter, overlapping dates with the First Friday Gallery Walks.

Free and accessible during Fountain Square’s building hours, the two ground-level spaces can be viewed up close on the lower level, accessible using the glass elevator in the main atrium or using the Walnut Street entrance on the lower level.

The Fountain Square Gallery Committee, comprised of respectable individuals within the Bloomington arts community, oversee the FS Gallery Wall and the artwork selection process. Fountain Square exhibitions are coordinated by the Fountain Square Gallery Committee in partnership with the City of Bloomington.

Inquiries regarding future exhibitions may be directed to Holly Warren, Assistant Director for the Arts, in the City of Bloomington’s Department of Economic and Sustainable Development, by email. Artists and groups interested in being considered for future exhibits can also learn more by visiting the City of Bloomington’s website.
